Karachi: Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab marked a significant milestone by laying the foundation stone for a 5-kilometer two-way road in Mauripur, Union Committee 2, as reported by a news source on October 25.

During the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Wahab underscored the remarkable progress achieved by the Sindh government. He highlighted that this new road, extending from Nasir Brohi Hotel to Mubarak Village, is poised to enhance connectivity and facilitate transportation for residents. Mayor Wahab also reassured the public of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s (KMC) financial commitment, with tenders worth billions of rupees already initiated for diverse infrastructural ventures. He assured swift implementation of these initiatives, indicating a prompt timeline for their execution. Furthermore, in response to concerns about construction quality, the mayor clarified that all road projects were meticulously planned.
