Karachi: The Karachi Cantonment Board (KCB), through a publication, recently invited objections to the amendments madel in its building bylaws.

The authority’s notification informs that in order to better administer and provide services to its residents, the KCB has amended and/or drafted the following bylaws:
- Bylaws for taxation on transfer of immovable property
- Bylaws on Shop Board as updated for 2020
- Bylaws relating to house, conservancy, and fire tax

Reportedly, any resident of the cantonment area can submit their objections or suggestions regarding these bylaws to the KCB office in any form within 30 days of the publication of its notification. The cantonment board office can be reached at “Karachi Cantonment Board, 259 Sarwar Shaheed Road, Karachi.”
Additionally, the amended bylaws have been displayed at the Sarwar Shaheed office of the cantonment board, and can be viewed free of cost. A copy of the new bylaws can also be obtained from the same office at a cost of PKR 200.
