Karachi: TransKarachi, the implementation agency of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) Project, has published a public notice for the disbursement of compensation for the affected parties whose land was on the project’s proposed route. In this regard, the authority has asked the affectees to contact TransKarachi’s head office with relevant documents to get the claim amount.

According to a statement issued on a national daily, the Sindh government has begun construction work on Karachi’s BRT Red Line project. It has also surveyed the homes and businesses affected by the project’s development route. The authorities stated that notifications were issued to the people, but many still haven’t been received. This subsequent notification is thus directed to individuals who were unable to receive the previous message.
How to submit compensation claims for Karachi BRT?
The affectees can approach the TransKarachi Project Office, Shahra-e-Aisha, opposite Sohni Apartments, near Falak Naz Headquarters, Karachi.
