Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tarin reported that the government is ready to launch Kamyab Jawan Programme on July 29 across Pakistan to bring 4 million families out of poverty, according to media reports.

The federal minister held a meeting with Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib. The minister said that the Prime Minister (PM) has agreed to speed up the program’s implementation.
Usman Dar will be in responsible for making the necessary arrangements for the inauguration, which will take place at the Convention Centre in Islamabad.

Kamyab Jawan Programme is the largest welfare project so far as it will feature soft loans, skill development initiatives, housing projects, agricultural services, and health cards. During the meeting, the special assistant informed that billions have been allocated for the programme. The government plans to offer PKR 0.5 million interest-free loans to farmers. Additionally, business loans will also be given to people. Under this initiative, one member of every family will be provided technical education.
