Islamabad: The Prime Minister’s Youth Affairs Programme (PMYAP) plans to include the youth from the country’s minority population segment in the Kamyab Jawan Programme for their socio-economic uplift, according to news sources.

The programme administrators said that they aim to provide minority and marginalized youth with equal civic opportunities. These sections of the society would be given priority in the next six phases of the Kamyab Jawan initiative; in order to grant them equal employment and career chances. The minority youth will receive equal loans for their entrepreneurial skills.

Meanwhile, the Kamyab Jawan Programme and United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) have announced to collaborate in the skill development and employment creation to facilitate youth development in Pakistan. UNICEF’s Generation Unlimited (GenU)’s country representative Aida Girma met with Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar and exchanges views to explore cooperation avenues on this front.
