Toba Tek Singh: The construction work of the Kamalia-Harappa Bridge, located near Mull Fatyana over River Ravi, was recently resumed following a six-year delay, a news source reported. Following the facility’s construction, the distance between Kamalia and Sahiwal is expected to be reduced by 35 kilometers.

As per details, the authorities concerned have released funds worth PKR 200 billion to a private construction company; which has been tasked with the project’s completion. The same company had been carrying out the construction work prior to its halt.
Member National Assembly (MNA) Riaz Fatyana, during a press briefing, stated that the National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) would supervise the construction work.

He added that the cost of construction work on the road from Mull Fatyana to the bridge would not exceed the budgeted allocations. The remaining amount of PKR 775 million is expected to be approved soon.
