According to an official (whose name was not disclosed), ecotourism will have minimum impact on the environment as tourists will have to follow Travel Responsibly for Experiencing Ecotourism (TREK) – a programme introduced under the KP Integrated Tourism Development (KITE) project. Reportedly, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is expected to inaugurate the ecotourism village that will bring local and foreign tourists to the valley.
