Karachi: The K-Electric (KE) on Sunday announced its decision to reopen customer care centres and resume operations across all its spheres from today (Monday) onwards, a news source reported. According to details, the company is fully aware of the ongoing fight against the coronavirus infection in the country. The decision to reopen customer care centres comes in light of the ease provided in the government-imposed lockdown in the country.

KE had continued operating its critical installations like power plants and load dispatch centres throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the field teams of the power supply company had also continued working during this period. All staff working was following strict guidelines to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Previously, the KE had its customer care centres open only at some locations; providing select services, the sourced revealed. Now, the customer care centres would open at all locations and resume their full scale of services to facilitate the public.
