Karachi: A judicial commission in Sindh mandated by the Supreme Court showcased reservations about non-compliance with its orders about the transfer of water and sewerage schemes and demanded a progress report on such projects from the local government secretary, according to a news source.
Retired Justice Amir Hani Muslim stated that such schemes should be handed over to the regular formation instead of the local government, so that proper expertise of sewerage and water supply can be utilised. However, this handing over had not taken place. A list of all such societies and the progress report on their transfer status was asked for by the commission.
