Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration have announced that the Jashan-e-Baharaan 2025 Festival will take place from February 25 to 27 at the Sports Complex, Islamabad. The three-day event aims to celebrate the arrival of spring with cultural performances, fireworks, and a food festival, offering entertainment for residents and visitors alike.
CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa chaired a meeting at CDA Headquarters to review preparations for the festival. Officials from the CDA Board, district administration, and other relevant departments were in attendance.

The festival will feature folk dances, Kathak and Khattak performances, live music, and a spectacular fireworks display. Additionally, diplomats from various countries and the general public will be invited to participate in the festivities.
Chairman Randhawa emphasized that Jashan-e-Baharaan 2025 is designed to highlight Islamabad’s beauty and cultural richness while providing top-tier entertainment. He directed authorities to ensure wide-scale promotion of the festival, a detailed traffic management plan, and excellent parking arrangements. Separate entry and exit points for families and children will be established, with Islamabad Police overseeing security to ensure a smooth experience for attendees.
Deputy Commissioner Islamabad and relevant Assistant Commissioners have been assigned to oversee various aspects of the festival’s organization, ensuring it is executed in the best possible manner.
