Karachi: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has invited Japanese firms to provide technical training to the youth, a news source reported. He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting with a four-member delegation of the Association for Overseas Technical Cooperation and Sustainable Partnerships (AOTCS) on Monday.

The governor emphasised the need for providing modern quality education and training to facilitate industrial and economic growth. The provincial and federal want to develop the industrial infrastructure – something which requires technical knowledge and expertise.
In response, the AOTCS managing director briefed the governor on the workings of the association. He said that the organisation offered short and long-term courses.

Moreover, it also offers training programmes for professionals working on managerial positions. These initiatives aim to provide insights into business practices adopted by industries.
