Karachi: The Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Kuninori Matsuda stated that Japan is willing to play a part in Pakistan’s development, according to a news source. He made this statement at the annual meeting of the Pakistan-Japan business forum earlier this week.

He emphasised on the amicable relationship between the two nations, and the mutually beneficial trade ties involved. Matsuda paid a visit to Karachi, and stressed on the ample business opportunities the city presented. He stated that it was an important economic and trade hub, with people from all over the world visiting the city.

He added that Japan was already coordinating with Pakistan in the food, agriculture, and fisheries sectors, and this collaboration can extend into the automobile industry, pharmaceuticals, energy education, tourism, logistics, and many other sectors.
Matsuda also revealed that Japan had included Pakistan in its list of top 10 friendly countries, which means that Pakistani youth would be able to get employment in Japan with relative ease.
