Karachi: Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab announced the decision to repair the Jam Sadiq Flyover for the Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and stated an alternate flyover will be constructed for smooth flow of traffic, a news source reported on November 30.

The administrator held a meeting with all the stakeholders of the project. During the meeting, the attendees decided that the Jam Sadiq Flyover is in a dilapidated condition and must be repaired. It was also mentioned that an alternative bridge will be constructed for Yellow Line BRT.

Moreover, the administrator shared that the provincial government has been focused on trying to resolve the transport problem in the city and provide better commuting facilities to the public. Sharing details about the project, Karachi Administrator Wahab stated once the bus service is complete, the residents of Malir, Korangi, Dar-ul-Islam Society, Qayyumabad, Allahwala Town, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, Landhi, and nearby areas will have access to this new public transport facility.
