Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Housing, Amjad Ali on Monday (July 12) said that the government has decided to hold a draw to determine successful applicants of Jalozai Housing Scheme Phase 3 on July 15 2021, news sources reported.
Furthermore, according to a statement released by the office of the housing ministry, the government will hold the draw through a third party following a comprehensive review of the submitted applications. The decision was taken in order to uphold merit and make the process of allocation more transparent. The decision was made to reduce nepotism and corruption and to increase transparency in the procedure.
Furthermore, the minister stated that forensic audit and verification of the application will be done in case of any complaints regarding the draw. The last date to submit an application for Jalozai Housing Scheme Phase 3 was June 15, 2021. The authorities had also established a helpline to handle concerns and allegations of corruption in the draw.
Moreover, the application for the Jalozai Flats – Nowshera are still open till Jul 31, 2021. The Jalozai Flats – Nowshera are being built in collaboration with the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA) and Provincial Housing Authority (PHA) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). Under the project, 1,320 apartments will be constructed.
