Peshawar: The individuals who purchased plots in the Jalozai Housing Scheme are expected to receive possession by the end of next year, according to a news report published today (August 21). To this effect, the owners of 8,631 plots in the society will receive possession by December 2021.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Housing Minister Dr Amjad Ali Khan revealed this information during a press conference he chaired with government spokesperson Kamran Khan Bangash. On the occasion, he said that this was one of the most prominent project’s being developed in the city, along with Hayatabad and Regi Model Town. It consists of 8,631 plots, spread over 8,905 kanals in Nowshera district. Plans are also underway to expand its size to 15,000 kanals.

The minister stated that the government had allocated PKR 1 billion for a grid station and PKR 500 million for gas supply in the Jalozai housing scheme, which has an estimated cost of PKR 14 billion. The roads here have already been completed. He also added some details about other ongoing projects in the province and hailed housing as a high priority for the government.
