Dubai: The MBF Group, a Dubai-based business enterprise, has signed an agreement with Ibchez Housing and Nixon, a Pakistan-based company, to develop a medical city in Islamabad, reported a news source. The project will be located in Gulberg Greens and, according to the MBF Group Founder Shaikh Muhammad Bin Faisal Al Qasimi, investment provided for the group has reached USD 970 million.
The project will feature a 400-bed university hospital, a medical mall, a cardiology centre, therapeutic and recreational areas, an orthopedic centre, and a nursing college. Reportedly, the land for medical city has also been purchased and the groups working on the project are also looking to complete to the project on time and meet the growing demand of health care services in the federal capital of Pakistan.
The medical city will have 1,000 technical, medical and administrative staff and according to the news report, all of them will be Pakistani nationals.
