Islamabad: Minister Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, declared on 12th March 2018 that Islamabad’s zoning regulations would be changed soon. According to a news source, Capital Development Authority’s 1992 zoning regulations were creating problems for citizens.
During 2010, CDA had made changes to these, by which construction of housing societies was allowed in Zone IV. In the meeting, it was highlighted that illegal construction was taking place in Zones III and IV in violation of the zoning regulations. CADD spokesperson, Atiq ur Rehman, added that under the chairmanship of CADD Minister and various other dignitaries, new regulations were being proposed.
