Both ring road projects in Islamabad and Rawalpindi are expected to cost PKR 100 billion. Once the two projects are complete, traffic issues in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad will ease.
Due to the three-month long tendering process, the development cannot be started this year. The government will invite bids from national and international construction firms and it will take up to three months to finalise the whole process.
