Islamabad: The Islamabad Police on Tuesday held its third e-Kutchery to resolve public complaints and ensure efficient departmental coordination with citizens, a news source reported.

As per the publication, Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad Muhammad Aamir Zulfiqar listened to the issues and concerns of citizens during the e-Kutchery session, and assured them that all their problems would be tackled on a priority basis. Member National Assembly (MNA) Raja Khurram Nawaz and several senior police officers were also present during the event.

IGP Zulfiqar said that the police authorities were spreading awareness among citizens and directing them to observe all precautionary measures to protect their lives and properties. He added that policing could be made successful only through the cooperation of the citizens. The session’s participants took the opportunity to laud the role played by the Islamabad police department in spreading awareness regarding COVID-19.

MNA Nawaz appreciated the e-Kutchery initiative, and said that all the government institutions were committed to helping the people during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
