Islamabad: The main route from Peshawar Morr to Islamabad International Airport, spanning over 25.6 km, is expected to be completed by the end of this month, according to a news report. The project was launched in April 2017, as per special directions of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, and is being completed in less than a year.
The project has been divided into four different packages to ensure optimum resource utilisation. Two of these, Packages 3 and 4 have been completed, whereas work is underway for Packages 1 and 2. On this same route, the Metro Bus will also be operational, facilitating traffic between the twin cities.
