Islamabad: The survey to demarcate boundaries of Islamabad under the Supreme Court orders is 50% complete, a news source reported. The survey is being conducted by Capital Development Authority (CDA) in collaboration with Survey of Pakistan.
Under the project, pillars are being installed for the purpose of demarcation. The survey is still ongoing and the private housing schemes that had expressed reservations also cooperated with the authorities on the matter. Afterwards, the hilly areas will be surveyed, which is a slightly more difficult job and will take longer. However, it is expected that the survey will be completed by December.
