Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has once again reached out to the federal government for the reformation of the Islamabad Master Plan Commission, a news source reported on September 26.

According to the details, the CDA has submitted a summary to the federal cabinet, highlighting the necessity for a comprehensive overhaul of the commission. The CDA officials report that the Master Plan Revision Commission has already delivered its preliminary report. This report encompasses vital recommendations pertaining to building by-laws and regularization, emphasizing its importance in shaping the city’s future.

In the wake of the preliminary report submission, the CDA intends to engage international consultants to aid in modifying the master plan. Importantly, this endeavour will entail collaboration with the Greek government, signifying a notable international partnership in the realm of urban planning.
