Islamabad: The Indus River System Authority (IRSA) released 249,300 cusecs of water from various rim stations, with an inflow of 187,400 cusecs, according to a news story. The water level in the Indus River at the Tarbela Dam was 1,543 feet, which was 157 feet higher than its dead level of 1,386, according to official stats from IRSA.
The statistics further show that the water flow in the dam was recorded as 115,500 cusecs, whereas an outflow of 180,000 cusecs was recorded. On the other hand, the water level in the Jhelum River at Mangla Dam was 1,178.2 feet, which was 138.2 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet. Here, water inflow and outflow was recorded as 14,600 cusecs and 12,000 cusecs, respectively.
