Gujranwala: The irrigation department has decided to auction its rest houses, agricultural land. and commercial land, a news source reported. The department has sent the relevant data and pictures to the government of Punjab.
The decision has been taken to increase the revenue and government had demanded details from the Chief Engineer. The officers sent the details of the rest houses within their regions, including the location, number of rooms, sizes and details of the agricultural and commercial area including their pictures, khasra and khatooni numbers to the government.
From Gujranwala region, data was sent from rest houses in Sadhoke, Mianwali, Head Marala, Head Qadirabad, Head Khanki, Mothara, Nowshehra, Kamoki, Sanguwali, while data of about 172 acres of agricultural land and 122 kanals of commercial land was also sent.
