Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan has announced that an interest-free loan scheme is being planned for small businesses of the province, in a bid to boost the economy and reduce poverty, news sources reported. The said loan scheme is part of projects announced for the next fiscal year (FY2021-2022)’s budget.

Under this interest-free loan initiative, PKR 2 billion will be reserved for small businesses, while PKR 1 billion will go to the provincial food security.
Moreover, CM Alyani said that the government will protise the project benefitting people direcely. He also announced that PKR 3 billion will be allocated for the Government Employees Housing Fund, PKR 2 billion for the Balochistan Enterprise Development, and PKR 2 billion for Support Fund for Persons with Disabilities
Talking to the media he said that the government schemes are designed to benefit common people and improve development in the province. He acknowledged that the provincial healthcare facilities are underdeveloped and need serious interventions, for which the government has appointed two secretaries to look after the matters and expedite the work on the health card scheme.

Furthermore, he also announced funds and allocation of resources for women empowerment, pensions schemes and support fund for underprivileged communities of the province.
