Rawalpindi: The district administration has announced the registration of 162 shopkeepers under the auspices ‘Insaaf Sasti Mobile Shops Programme’ that aims to provide all sorts of vegetables and fruits at cheaper rates during the holy month of Ramazan, according to a news source published on April 5.

Where citizens can find these shops registered with Insaaf Sasti Mobile Shops Programme?
The local administration has allocated as many as 10 points to enable the citizens to shop for fruits and vegetable at reduced prices at the following designated spots:
- Double Road (near the public park)
- Adiala Road (at Jarahi Stop)
- Chakri Road (near Zafar Plaza)
- Committee Chowk
- Chur Chowk Model Bazaar
- Chungi No22.
- Dhoke Hassu
- Gulzar-e-Quaid
- Haidri Chowk
- Khayaban-e-Sir Syed

Moreover, the local administration also aims to provide fruits and vegetables at cheaper rates at designated points at the tehsil level at Shahra-e-Kashmir Kallar Syedan, Chowk Sarai Kalan Taxila, Kotli Satiyan Main Bazaar, Sabzimandi Kahuta, Main GT Road Gujar Khan, and Lower Mall Murree.
The said development has been made on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar who instructed the district administration to provide maximum relief to the public. Moreover, the local management also plans to establish ‘Ramazan Sasta Bazaars’ in Rawalpindi from April 13 – in a bid to provide all edible items at cheaper prices as compared to the open market.
