Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced the launch of ‘Khidmat Apki Dehleez Per’ social uplift programme to facilitate the people of the province and improve the public departments’ performance delivery, according to a news story published on April 13.

Reportedly, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar held a meeting in this regard at this office, where it was decided that under this programme, the government departments will execute specified tasks – in addition to their assigned administrative duties. Also, the service delivery protocols will be improved for increased effectiveness and minimal hassle for the citizens.
The civic departments will be tasked as per the public needs and feedback collected for the public sector institutions from third-parties. This pubic feedback will be collected for the assigned targets every week.

During the said meeting, the CM emphasized that the government wishes to restore public confidence and make Punjab an exemplary province. He insisted that the government shouldn’t have to visit government offices seeking solutions for their problems. Furthermore, CM Buzdar has also warned of strict disciplinary action for the officers failing their duties.
