Multan: Multan Electric Power Company completed 42 projects worth PKR 2.5 billion during 2017-18 to power supply in the city, reported a news source. The amount was spend on improving the voltage, the system’s capacity to handle more units, and the constraints of the power supply system.
The MEPCO Grid System Construction Project Director Muhammad Nawaz Nadeem said that new grid stations are being constructed to supply power supply with better voltage to over six million people living in South Punjab, while work on increasing the capacity of the existing stations is also being done.
