Faisalabad: Divisional Commissioner (DC) and Metropolitan Corporation Faisalabad (MCF) Administrator Ishrat Ali has stated that the city administration’s drive to reform the civic authority is geared to provide quality municipal services to the city’ residents, according to news sources.
He expressed his views on the matter during a meeting held to review the measures for provision of municipal services to the citizen in a more effective manner. The meeting was informed that administrative and other official MCF matters were being digitized to ensure transparency and good governance.

The DC revealed that complaint centres were being set up in all provincial constituencies of the city and the citizen would able to file complaints pertaining to the poor sanitation conditions, roads repairs, missing street infrastructure, resolution of the complaints regarding the sewerage system and other civic amenities. He added that a one-window operation system would be established at the MCF to simplify and expedite the process of approving and issuing building maps.

He also issued instructions for the MCF sub-offices to execute the anti-encroachment operation at the Clock Tower Chowk and other parts of the city. The DC said that weekly bazaars found to be operating illegally would be removed.
