Rawalpindi: During a drive launched against illegal water supply connections, the Rawalpindi Cantt Board’s Water Recovery Cell terminated 150 connections on account of them being illegal or over non-payment of utility bills during November, according to a news report.
During the operation, the cell also recovered PKR 6.76 million in terms of bills. The operation was carried out in the Cantonment areas Adara, Mughalabad, Azizabad and Misrial. According to a representative of the Cantt Board, the connections can now be resumed only on the payment of outstanding dues.
