Peshawar: The district administration demolished 100 illegal structures in the provincial capital in an anti-encroachment drive on Wednesday.
According to a news source, the drive against illegal structures was carried out under the supervision of Peshawar Municipal Corporation Administrator Mr Zafar Ali Shah and other officials concerned. Mr Shah told reporters that the anti-encroachment drive was part of the Peshawar Uplift project, adding that the provincial government had directed the authorities concerned to clear the encroachments before the initiation of the project.
