Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA)’s Town Planning Department has demolished and sealed several illegal structures in Township, Quaid-e-Azam Town and Johar Town, according to a news source. LDA’s Estate Branch has also cleared off public plots from the land mafia.
According to details, four illegally constructed shops in Quaid-e-Azam Town were demolished during the operation. The operation was monitored by Town Planning Department Director Ayesha Mutahir, Deputy Director Fahad Younas and Assistant Director Hafiz Muhammad Ikram.
In the Johar Town operation, illegal structures were demolished in Blocks P and R-1. The boundary walls of the plots recovered from land grabbers were also demolished in the operation headed by Estate Branch’s officer Muhammad Sabir.
