Faisalabad: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has sealed 80 illegal housing schemes in an operation launched in the first quarter of 2023, according to a news story published in the leading newspapers on May 2.

In addition to sealing the unapproved housing project, the authority also demolished their structures. According to an FDA spokesperson, the authority has been proactive in ensuring developers comply with the rules and regulations.
Reportedly, the FDA registered 102 cases against the developers housing schemes who violated the FDA regulation, in the first four months of the year. Challans against these cases have already been sent to the court of law for further action.
