Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has disclosed that the first phase of IJ Principal Road, from GT Road to Mandi Morr, Sector I-11, will be completed ahead of its committed deadline, news sources reported on July 22.
A CDA official informed the media that the National Logistics Cell (NLC) is continuing work at a good pace and development on the first phase will be completed by the end of August. He further added that NLC has started asphalt work on various parts on the road.
According to a senior CDA official the total cost of the project will be revised. It was revealed that the piling work and construction of pillars of flyover at the 9th Avenue Intersection, Rawalpindi Stadium Road, and IJP Road has been completed.
