Rawalpindi: The local management hasn’t been able to provide bus facilities for people commuting to and from Islamabad International Airport (IIA), according to a news report. People have to rely on cabs and other vehicles for the commute.
Earlier on, it was decided that a private transport company would provide 66 air-conditioned buses for people travelling to and from the airport, as well as the Metro Bus, which was to be completed in time. According to District Regional Transport Authority Secretary Khalid Yameen Satti, the airport authorities haven’t provided any parking space to the private transporters because of which they are reluctant to start work.
