This decision was made during a meeting that was also attended by Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza. According to IHRA chairman Dr Syed Fazli-i-Hadi, this act had been passed back in May 2019, and efforts have been underway since to implement it in its full spirit. In this regard, the authority will inspect all public and private healthcare institutions in the rural and urban areas of the federal capital. This will amount to thousands of various medical centres, yet this task will be completed in a timely manner to ensure the provision of quality healthcare for all.
