Islamabad: Candus International Consulting Inc President Badar Shamim has said that Information Communication Technologies (ICT) firms in Pakistan should explore business partnership potential in Canada, according to news sources.

He made these remarks during a visit to the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI). He further stated that Pakistan could improve its economic situation by boosting trade cooperation with Canada. Shamim was of the view that Pakistan could attract foreign investment by implementing laws and regulations.

He assured that he would make an effort to share information about business and investment opportunities for ICT firms in Canada with the ICCI.
In response, ICCI President Muhammad Ahmed Waheed said that Pakistan was an emerging market for Canadian investors to explore joint venture and investment options for lucrative results. He said that investment in Pakistan could pave way for Canadian firms to access other Central Asian markets.
