Islamabad: Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari has urged the government to get representation in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Board to resolve the issues faced by the business community and facilitate the growth of business activities, according to news published on November 23.

The ICCI president stated that all the markets and industries of the city are represented in ICCI and having a permanent representation in the CDA Board will help represent the voice of the business community in CDA affairs. He also discussed other matters with the CDA Officers Association including the removal of encroachments from markets, the beautification of Islamabad, better development of markets and industry, and improved sanitation.

During the meeting, CDA Officers Association President Ch. Amir Shehzad supported the proposal for the representation of ICCI in the CDA Board. He was assured that ICCI will cooperate with the Association in efforts to protect the interests of CDA officers.
