Islamabad: The Islamabad Chambers of Commerce and Industry President Sheikh Amir Waheed said that certain changes should be deemed vital in the building bylaws of Capital Development Authority for promoting investment in the city’s real estate market, reported a news source. He expressed these views during a meeting held with Central Board of Revenue Employees Cooperative Housing Scheme (CBRECHS) President Altaf Bhatt.
Addressing the meeting, Waheed said that the ICCI will work out to plan projects issued under joint partnership with CBRECHS. He also requested Bhatt to help the chamber find appropriate land for setting up an industrial zone on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor route. Waheed highlighted the need for an IT tower for the federal capital, but this requires certain changes in the CDA Building Bylaws.
He demanded CDA to introduce changes in the bylaws with consultation from all stakeholders.
