Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner Mohammad Abbas Baloch on Wednesday has announced that a ‘Hyderabad City Tour’ plan will be launched from January 1, 2022, in a bid to promote cultural tourism, according to news sources.

Reportedly, the city commissioner made this announcement while presiding over a meeting held to discuss the preservation and restoration of archaeological sites in the city. Mr Baloch said that Hyderabad city had great potential and its archaeological and historical sites needs to be explored. He said that new steps are underway to restore the city’s beauty and attract foreign tourists.

The commissioner acknowledged that lack of sufficient infrastructure is causing tourists’ lack of interest. He assured that lodging and boarding facilities are being arranged for tourists and vehicles and tourist guides will also be offered.
