Charsadda: The provincial law minister Barrister Sultan Mohammad Khan has said that large sums have been allocated for the beautification of Charsadda, a news source reported. He informed that various schemes had been initiated in different sectors of the district, to this effect.
These government projects include women & children hospital initiatives, as well as the restoration of a railway line to Tangi. He said that the said hospital’s first phase had been completed; with the facility due for opening next week.
Local MPAs Fazal Shakoor Khan, Khalid Khan Mohmand and Bashir Umarzai; Deputy Commissioner Adeel Shah, and DHO Dr Fayaz Khan were also present on the occasion.
Recently, the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) also approved 18 development schemes worth PKR 13.87 billion for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The approved projects included a livestock programme, development of infrastructure in the KP Assembly building, construction of a 35km road in Swat, and rehabilitation of Bara-Mastak.
