Peshawar: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA)’s plan to start two housing projects on a farmland has upset regional growers, as they fear that these projects are likely to affect their livelihood and may deprive them of a large swath of fertile land.
According to a news source, DHA Peshawar recently placed advertisements in newspapers to hire staff even though the government had forbidden the sale or purchase of land in the areas specified for the project.
The farmers have serious reservations about the DHA Peshawar projects, the news source added.
