Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is planning to develop a mixed-use housing project in Kuri Enclave, Zone-IV of Islamabad, a guest house at Rawal Lake, as well as develop the capital street on 7th Avenue, as per the news published on April 20.

The authority aims to leverage this new housing project to offer quality housing at an affordable price for people belonging to all income segments. As per the sources, the CDA has expressed concern about the expanding number of stalled housing projects in the capital, which has increased encroachments and prices of CDA-acquired land.

Moreover, the recent CDA meeting approved the development of a new guest house at Kuri Enclave, Zone-IV – covering a land area of 3,500 sq. ft. and offering modern amenities to guests. The authority has also approved the establishment of a capital street in Art and Craft Village by auctioning 50 plots for food outlets. Other projects aimed at enhancing the city’s infrastructure and facilities were also approved to better meet the demands of citizens.
