According to a statement published by the housing ministry, the FGEHA has now issued around 1,652 provisional offer letters (POLs) of flats to government employees for the Kashmir Avenue apartment scheme in Sector G-13, Islamabad. Out of the total, 796 POLs were of A-category units, 857 were of B-category, and 184 temporary allotments were terminated owing to non-payment of dues. Furthermore, the FGEHA is working on 3,432 flats in the Chaklala Scheme, while the Skyline Apartments have 3,945 units. The ministry also claimed that it has invited construction companies from throughout the country to express their interest in launching new housing developments.
It is worth noting that FGEHA, a federal government body, has built a number of low-cost housing developments for public employees. These projects are primarily being developed in Islamabad, although they are also being developed in Quetta Kuchlak Road and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)
