Karachi: The Orangi Town Pilot Project staff has recovered 8,000 yards2 of land allocated for the construction of a hospital in Gulshan-e-Zia, Orangi Town from the possession of illegal occupants. During the action, Karachi Metropolitan Corporation Anti-encroachment Task Force demolished illegal buildings on the land.
One week ago, a notice to vacate the land had been issued to illegal occupiers by the Anti-encroachment director, but they failed to respond to the notice, after which action was taken against them.
