Islamabad: A major portion of Sarai Kharbuza, a historical inn built by the Mughals on the outskirts of the Federal Capital, is illegally occupied by nearby villagers, while the remaining portion of the building is decaying rapidly.
As reported by a news source, neither the Capital Development Authority (CDA) nor the Archeology Department seems to have any interest in preserving this historical site.
However, CDA Spokesman Mr Asim Khichi told the news source that the civic authority would probe the matter and no one would be allowed to occupy such sites.
