Lahore: The distribution of Himmat Cards for differently-abled individuals has officially begun, announced by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, as reported on October 4.

As per details, this initiative allows free travel on Orange Line and metro bus services in Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, enhancing accessibility across Punjab. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister shared that 65,000 differently-abled individuals will receive PKR 10,500 in financial aid every three months. To mark the start, she personally handed out the first batch of Himmat Cards to beneficiaries, reaffirming the government’s commitment to improving their lives.
This initiative underscores the administration’s dedication to empowering the differently-abled and advancing public welfare.
