Quetta: The Planning and Development Department of Balochistan has given approval to the highest evert budget finance of PKR 105 billion on Sunday (May 29), a news source reported on May 30.

The approval was granted in the review meeting regarding preparation of budget and Public Sector Development progamme for the next financial year. The meeting was chaired by Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.
The meeting members were informed that the government had released the highest ever allocation of PKR 89 billion for the ongoing development projects in the current fiscal year (FY 2021-22). Moreover, it was said that the budget would be used for public interest projects, including dams, public transport, and healthcare.

Addressing the meeting members, CM Bizinjo said that the priority will be given to the projects of collective interests and less developed areas of the province. The meeting also reviewed the Federal PSDP projects, including the construction of Babar Kutch Dam, public transport infrastructure, and other projects that were promised by the federal government.
