Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) sacked the director of sector development for his failure to initiate development work in Sector C-15 even 4 months after it was planned to commence, stated a news source.
Reportedly, the director was using delay tactics in connivance with the contractor who, after being awarded the project for 45% less than the estimated cost valued at PKR 665 million, was now extending the scope of the project.
CDA spokesperson Ramzan Sajid told a news source that the project had been awarded to a new contractor and development work will begin soon.
Sector C-15 is spread over 4,000 kanals and the development of this sector was announced in 2008.
