Gujranwala: In a significant development for the ARY Laguna project, the Administrator of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Gujranwala and the CEO of ARY Laguna paid an official visit to the project site. This post, as shared on DHA Gujranwala’s official Facebook page on August 24, included a video showing the officials being briefed on the project, followed by a prayer for its success.
According to the Facebook post, the visit aimed to oversee the ongoing infrastructural development at the ARY Laguna site. However, the video did not showcase any active construction machinery or workforce. The DHA Gujranwala and ARY Laguna partnership dates back to December 21, 2020, when they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop Punjab’s first ‘beach view’ project. Following the MoU, a teaser post was shared in January 2021, highlighting the excitement surrounding this ambitious development. In February 2021, the ARY Laguna team visited DHA Gujranwala to discuss project modalities and the forthcoming launch.
According to independent sources, the ARY Laguna management has recently installed a billboard at the site and set up temporary offices, signaling that full-scale infrastructural work is imminent. The construction is reportedly being handled by SPARCO Construction Company, a reputed name in the industry. As the project progresses, more updates are expected.
